What they say about the Awards

The MWOTY awards was a fantastic event and an excellent opportunity for us to network with like-minded people and make new contacts.  As a social investment business One Ark is all about making an impact on people’s lives and offering life changing opportunities so the event is completely aligned with our brand.  The afternoon was inspirational and we were delighted to support the event. We are already looking forward to next year!

What a fantastic day well done to you all it was an inspiring and emotional event. On behalf of Katie, Vevina and myself we would just like to say it has been a pleasure working with you all and we were very grateful that you gave us the opportunity to be involved. We have benefited in so many way from this not just financially but it was an invaluable profile building opportunity for us to be able to explain what CFK does in front of so many people. Thank you again ladies

I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work and delivery of another amazing event. On the tissue Richter scale, last Friday beat all the other events. It was so humbling (as always) and so moving to recognise the mothers who had lost children yet carried on to campaign, the room tingled when you gave the Special Award to Margaret Aspinall. I think you three are inspirational!! You enrich the Merseyside ‘woman’s scene’ immensely, like no others do.

I was delighted and privileged to be an award winner - but more importantly thrilled to meet and share my success with so many, truly inspiring woman from across Merseyside. I laughed loudly with Pauline Daniels (an excellent MC!) and cried in equal measure by the courage, determination and inspiration shared by my female peers. Thank you again for a memorable and moving day.

It was an extreme honour and privilege to be part of Merseyside Women of the Year 2014, celebrating the achievements of many amazing women in Merseyside.  I am humbled and grateful to be acknowledged as an LJMU beneficiary winner and the event has inspired me to continue in my studies to become a social worker, which will enhance my knowledge and experience of supporting individuals in my community.
