Women In Business NW & Merseyside Woman of the Year Awards Event

Ellie was the very first winner of the "Merseyside Woman of the Year" award in 2003.
Ellie was nominated for the work she did to ensure the survival of Women In Business NW network. She has continued to support women going into business and women in work in addition to helping to organise the Merseyside Women of the Year Awards.
In July 2010 Ellie and two other women, Jean Gadsby and Elaine Owen took over the awards event management and it has truly felt as if the event has "come home".
Annually with over 420 attendees and always a long waiting list, it is the largest celebration of women's achievements on Merseyside and is the highlight in the diary across the area. The Awards continues to raise the profile of women's contribution to the City region across all sectors and in areas of life.
Ellie worked as a Consultant to deliver the Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) for Liverpool Vision in 2011 and worked for over 18 years at Business Link and uses her contacts and connections made over her years dealing with business across Merseyside to help to connect people and businesses.
